Naturally Good Times & Mountains of Fun!
A Muir Immersion Experience!
Campers come away with an appreciation of the life and legacy of John Muir
the naturalist, preservationist, writer, Martinez farmer and father. Based
at the John Muir National
Historic Site in Martinez. California
For Ages 8 - 12 yrs.
Monday through Friday
9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Each Weekly Session :
- Take a horse and carriage ride with John Muir's grandsons in Briones Regional
Park
- Paint and draw with California artist, Susan Barry
- Explore Bay Area trails & nature preserves
- Experience John Muir through Frank Helling’s portrayal
- Learn about local plant and animal life
- Make sourdough bread with 138 yr. old starter
- Sketch, paint, sing, create inventions & make a journal

All counselors are qualified instructors with extensive
experience working with children. Guest teachers are
specialists in the area of that day’s focus.

Tuition
$225
per participant, per session - includes field trips, park admissions, and
camp T-shirt! Tuition is non refundable after July 1, 2007.
